oops my bad!!! I guess peter just relized he was made up by his friends! I dont believe he couldnt even answer me as of why he closed chat. I always was under the impression this was a chat board and we could chat togeasther with other fisher people . I guess as long as you say peter is GOD and GREAT you will be free 2 say what you want. IM pissed that members were in conversation and peter cut us off I guess he thinks he is god lmfao
even god must answer his people but not peter?? I send peter a message asking what was up but he doesnt have the decentcie to answer my email as to why he would cut 4 fisherpeople from chattin I wonderin if things that are said are true

Thank you your comment Olrik - I'm sure there will be people that want to take some fish for a symbolic feed and some who will choose not to.

The recent history at this location is we suffered excessive overfishing that resulted in the age class colapse of the 6 year old panfish, and pike as well.

This over harvest resulted in the closure to all open ice fishing activity at this Reservoir. BTW - this was a farmers field that was flooded 42 years ago and can not reproduce panfish like the mighty Lake Simcoe.

Secondly - 95% of the anglers that saw this action take place, asked for measures to be taken, hence the closure. I have no confidence that the two year closure rebuilt the number of gills taken over a very short period of harvest time.

That said - we will be taking a slow and conservation approach to ensure we have fish under us before we go right back to any level of harvest. The exact plan to get us back on this sheet of ice will be released shortly - and I ask for your patience.

Thanks for listening - Gord

I built the front box last winter but never had the time to paint it.
Just gave it a coat of primer and went fishing. This fall I spent a bit of time cutting and painting in the garage.

Have a look

LAST YEAR FRONT BOX JUST BUILT

THIS YEAR PAINTED

I also needed a new back seat with some function. Where to put the GAS AUGER?
Its cold out the so I also wanted to bring out a propane tank and started last year bringing a 20lb.
I went smaller with a 5lb this year and where the 20lb went I will now put my bucket

The five pounder will heat the portable for a few days and only $5 to fill

Peter about the C and R what if you got 100 ppl that want to go there and only 5 want C and R and the other 95 want to mabey bring some fish home. You got to Aim for what ppl want. Bait i agreee set up something to get the bait from the lake you fish from.

C and R is ok but some of us enjoy eating fish as well. Some of us use it as meals and get togethers.

I usally do a couple big fish fries ocver the winter where frinds come over and stuff. So for C and R it is cool if you do it but you look at the area not far from me where the river use to always have ppl there fishing they made it all c and r and barbless hooks and now i never see anyone there anymore.

anyway just my thoughts.
